Whether you work on (or) off-campus, there are numerous transportation services for getting around town and to the other Johns Hopkins University campuses. Most are free and all are convenient.

MTA Local Bus & Rail Service

The MTA All Access College Transit Pass offers students a convenient, affordable way to get around town. It can be used on the MTA local bus, Light Rail, and Metro Subway.

Zip Cars

Zip Cars are environmentally friendly, fast, and affordable. Pickup spots are conveniently located near Homewood campus.

Blue Jay Shuttle

The Blue Jay Shuttle provides students with reliable, efficient transportation between the various JHU campuses, off-campus residence halls, and commercial/retail locations in the area proximate to the Homewood campus. Night Ride is an on-demand, curb-to-curb service to and from locations within the service area.

Collegetown Shuttle

The Collegetown Shuttle transports students, staff, and faculty at six participating colleges to other campuses and key destinations throughout the region. Your college/university ID is the only ticket you'll need to board the shuttle. Commute to work, an internship, visit friends, or explore all that Baltimore has to offer!

Charm City Circulator

The Charm City Circulator features hybrid electric shuttles that travel four routes within Baltimore City.
  • The Green Route runs from City Hall to Fells Point to Johns Hopkins Medical Campus
  • The Purple Route runs from Federal Hill, Penn Station to 33rd Street
  • The Orange Route runs from Hollins Market to Harbor East
  • The Banner Route runs from the Inner Harbor to Fort McHenry
